Mexico Lindo
Cancún: Cool White Sands and Mayan Relics
Located on a barrier island shaped like the number seven, Cancún's Hotel Zone
juts into the Caribbean Sea at the northeast tip of Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula.
With the sea on one side and freshwater lagoons on the other, it's a popular
spot for sailing and snorkeling. Although the beaches and barrier reefs are a
major draw, the geography is equally enticing further inland, where you can dive
into an underground river or take a speedboat through a mangrove jungle.
Cancún pulls in millions of visitors each year with an amazing party atmosphere.
The stone columns of El Rey Ruins, an ancient Mayan site dating back to the second and third centuries BCE, lie within the city’s Hotel Zone. Believed to be a royal burial ground, the archaeological site is also home to wild iguanas that lounge in the sun. For a Mayan-themed day trip, a 1.5-hour drive from Cancún down the coast to Tulum, a pre-Columbian walled city located on a bluff overlooking the sea—one of the Yucatán Peninsula's most visited Mayan ruins. The Mayan city of Chichén Itzá, chosen as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2007, is only a 2.5-hour drive away.
Welcome to Cuban Style
Cuba, by far the biggest island in the Caribbean, Cuba has a rich history of Spanish
colonialism, revolution, cultural diversity, and tourism.
Cuba is perhaps the most fascinating island in the Caribbean -- if you choose it. It's a contradictory destination where stunning beaches and luxurious tourist-only resorts mask the true conditions under which most Cubans live. If you choose our Tours to Cuba, we will not only show you this country’s extraordinary beauty (and resorts), but, also, we will give you the time to talk to the people, listen to their music, and explore their cities and towns; this is the essence of traveling to Cuba.
The people of Cuba are considered to be very warm and friendly, eager to engage in friendly conversation, representing a mix of primarily Spanish and African descendants – Spanish originating from the days of colonial settlement, and African descendent from the many African slaves that were brought to the island to work in Cuba's coffee, sugar cane and tobacco plantations that represent the majority of Cuba's agricultural trade to this day.
The blending of Spanish and African culture has resulted in some of the
wonderful music, dance, and food that can be experienced in Cuba.
With us you will experience Cuba's natural beauty, beaches, mountains, and ecotourism, as well as the Cuban culture, history, and entertainment. For those who wish to find a good blend of everything, an all-inclusive Varadero Havana package holiday would be the best way to experience Cuba, where outstanding beaches and scuba diving are accompanied by good cultural attractions – nightlife, entertainment, restaurants, shopping and more.
For those in search of an all-inclusive Cuba vacation-Tours, filled with nightlife, cultural, historical, and entertainment attractions, Havana is the place to be. Havana is the capital of nightlife, enjoy great jazz and Latin music, huge music scene, which attracts musicians and music lovers who wish to explore Havana's great Latin music culture. as well as night clubs, theatre, ballet, shopping, like markets, where you can purchase crafts, cigars, and rum and more. Old cars and buildings, steeped in history, will provide countless photo opportunities. As well, when it comes to daytime activities such as sightseeing, shopping, dining, and more, Havana leads the way in Cuba, with Varadero as a great alternative for those who also wish to enjoy outstanding beaches; including diving and snorkelling. Also, explore in Havana, many historical fortresses, dating from Spanish colonial time, like the Fortress of San Carlos de la Cabaña, one of the most impressive colonial Spanish fortresses ever constructed, as well as castles and churches.
December is worth considering with the Havana International Jazz Festival. Other Havana festivals include: The International Havana Ballet Festival, Havana's International Film Festival, and the Habanos Cigar Festival, all world-class festivals.

Cuba Activities and Attractions
For those of you who choose to combine Havana with your tour: to spend some time in Havana, designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The old center in particular is captivating with its mix of 16th- and 17th-century Spanish Baroque architecture, neoclassical monuments and charming homes. Other cities worth visiting include Trinidad, Baracoa and Santiago. For a more scenic view of the country, visit Sierra Maestra National Park and climb Cuba’s highest peak. If you’re a fan of cigars, don’t leave without a visit to the tobacco fields of the Viñales Valley.
Cuba Beaches
Cuba’s main beach resort area is Varadero, consisting of about 13 miles of fine white-sand beach with an extensive selection of watersports and lined by
all-inclusive resorts.
Sample the real Cuba
Stay at a private home, known as casas particulares, and you’ll have a chance to get to know a Cuban family; on the downside, your accommodations may be fairly basic. Cuba's "casas particulares" -- which literally means "private homes" -- are the most affordable and authentic type of accommodations for visitors to Cuba. The Cuban economy has slowly been liberalizing in recent years, giving individual Cubans more ways to generate their own income outside the centralized state economy. Cubans have actually been legally allowed to rent rooms to guests since 1997 under the Castro regime, so today there are thousands of such accommodations available throughout the country, easily identifiable by the display of distinctive blue roof symbol.
Another benefit is the invaluable opportunity to live and dine with Cuban residents and learn a little about the "real" Cuba behind the headlines.
Food
It’s possible to trace Spanish, American, Arawak Indian and African influences in the popular cuisine of Cuba. Traditional dishes include a root vegetable stew called ajiaco, which is cooked with pork, chicken or beef. Other Cuban specialties include roast pork, or lechón; fried plantains, called tachinos,
chatinos or tostones; and moros y cristianos, commonly known as rice with black beans. Eating at a paladar, a privately run restaurant, is an excellent way to sample local fare and meet Cubans — try Havana’s La Guarida.
Cuba Events and Festivals
Cubans are passionate about their music and the country is the birthplace of the rumba, the mambo, cha-cha, salsa and more. The International Jazz Festival has an excellent line-up of well-known musicians. Las Parrandas in Remedios at the end of the year is one of the biggest street parties and religious carnivals in Cuba. Another don’t-miss carnival takes place in summer in Santiago.
Cuba Nightlife
Havana: enjoy a local salsa or jazz group playing: La Zorra y El Cuervo for jazz or Macumba Habana for salsa or hotel party. Or we do as the locals do and head down to the Malecon, Havana’s famous sea wall, with some beers or a bottle of rum and simply hang out under the stars. Visit the Havana bars made famous by Ernest Hemingway -- El Floridita, where the daiquiri daiquiri was invented, and La Bodeguita del Medio, both in Old Havana.
