Why Latin America and the Caribbean
Cities such as Paris, Rome, London, Berlin and New York are the first-round picks for travelers seeking
the best of fine art, architecture, history, music and food. why bother looking anywhere else?
There are, actually, many reasons. Some of the world's best, most interesting cultural offerings,
monuments and movements can be found outside the major centers.
As any experienced traveler knows, some of the best finds require veering off the beaten path (and perhaps
down the stairs and through an unmarked door). For every well-trod favorite there is a lesser-known city with
a buzzing cultural scene worth discovering.

HAVANA. The cultural Capital of Cuba.
The city as Cuba itself, as the character of a pleasant time of the 1950s and the 1960s (picture old FordThunderbirds on the roads).
Try paladares, privately run eateries. El Malecón, an esplanade and seawall that begins in Old Havana and stretches four miles up the
coast. The walk offers views of several of the city's important historical landmarks, like El Morro castle and the Castillo de San Salvador
de la Punta.
Why Cuba?
There has never been a more exciting time to visit Cuba and take part in this historical moment. Imagine a country with educated people, and free access to medical care and no starving people. Cuba is a museum in itself. Experience the Cuba of today with its unique culture, before changes turn it into another modern consumer economic country.
Meet and visit this beautiful Caribbean culture, full of music, people are full of happiness and joy; they dance in the streets for no reason and smile. The Cuban people are proud, educated, and happy to share opinions. The country offers few material pleasures but immense human and spiritual rewards. Cuba has hardly any traffic jams or nervous car drivers. You will be surprised the way the country is with a world unlike any you have encountered.

Che Guevara, Che loved to travel, will you join this tour?
Cuba's History and a short background to this tour:
Columbus arrived to Cuba in 1492 ( Despite his fame however, Columbus was not the first to visit the Americas. Long before Columbus, various indigenous peoples had settled and explored different areas of the Americas. In addition, Norse explorers visited portions of North America), and Diego Velázquez colonized the island in the 1500s. Spanish domination ended with Cuba’s military occupation by the United States in 1898. Although the
occupation ended in 1902 when Cuba became an independent republic, the U.S. continued to meddle in Cuban politics. In 1953 Fidel Castro, began a movement to overthrow the U.S.-backed dictatorship of Dictator Fulgencio Batista. The Western Hemisphere’s first socialist state was established on Jan. 1, 1959, with Castro at its head. The U.S. continues its presence in Cuba with a naval base at Guantanamo Bay.
